JEE Mains or Joint Entrance Examination Mains is an entrance exam for the entry of candidates into top-level engineering institutes across India. This qualifying exam is carried out by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is helpful for entry into any one of the (NIT) National Institute of Technology, (IIT) Indian Institute of Technology, and (GFTI) Government Funded Technical Institutes.

What is JEE Mains?

 

 

NEET (The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam for candidates’ entry into undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. This nationwide exam is carried out by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is also a qualifying exam for entry into dental courses.

What is NEET?

 

 

The main difference between JEE and NEET exams is that JEE Mains is a CBT or Computer Based Test while the NEET exam is a pen and paper-based test. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced is the qualifying exam for entry into undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes across India whereas the NEET exam is a qualifying exam for undergraduate medical programmes across India and even internationally.
